http://www.viewmalaysia.com A Scam?

Late 2007, I was keen to find out more about Malaysia Tourism as I wanted to get involve in it.

Then, I browsed the internet and tried to find if there was any special traveling packages with affordable prices. And after have been browsing for hours, I found what I have been searching for. I stopped right at http://www.viewmalaysia.com

The website was filled up with many nice Malaysia great sceneries and long list of hotels with very cheap rate. I mean, real cheap rate; some even with US$1 per night per deluxe room of a 3 star hotel. Don’t you think it sounds too good to be true?

And after reading all the small prints and promotional texts, those special rates were only for Account A member. Well, that’s right, they got 3 accounts altogether (if I’m not mistaken). The most basic account and Account B are both free but you can’t get those special rates but might have some other affordable rates.

Emotional Muscles

Lately, I noticed that many of my friends facebook’s walls were flooded with many types of feelings expressed either in text form or in symbolic form. Some were positive and some were negative.

Since facebook is one of the most famous social networking system, flaring out your emotions using such channel means you are intending to express it to the whole world. This also means, all your friends, acquaintances, business partners, families, relatives, or whoever that have access to your facebook account will be able to notice your emotions that you posted up.

Of course, basically, nothing is wrong with it. But the question is this, is it really necessary to express your emotions so publicly, knowing that it could be bringing positive or negative impacts? Some uses vulgar words, public condemnations, open criticism, or even false accusations just to express themselves. Don’t you think there should be some reservations for all these?

Lincoln’s Letter To His Son’s Teacher

I was browsing and re-arranging my bookmarks in Mozilla and stumbled upon an inspirational letter which I have bookmarked about a year ago.

It was claimed to be written by Abraham Lincoln to his son’s teacher but then was revealed that he didn’t write such letter.

Well, whoever have written that letter, it was truly remarkable and inspirational. Do read it yourself and get inspired…

Good & Bad Pressures

I was at my friend’s bathroom of an apartment when out of sudden I heard a loud sound of gushing water. Then, I heard the concealed water pipes rattled within the walls as if it’s going to burst soon.

One can easily understand that great pressure was being applied in order to pump the water to the top floor (18th floor). That’s right! Without sufficient pressure, the water would not reach there and it would be no water supply for that floor.

The same analogy applies to our lives as well. Some pressure is definitely needed in order to bring us to a higher level. If you don’t intend to climb that high, you can settle with lower pressure. But if you want to achieve greater heights, you’ll definitely need greater pressure.

Sensational Young Talent

Two weeks ago, I was browsing Youtube to check out some performances from America Got Talents but accidentally opened up the Australia Got Talents instead (because I keyed in AGT – haha).

Then, I watched a young guy by the name of Jal Joshua who was just 12 years old then and he sang a beautifully improvised oldie (Somewhere Over The Rainbow) during his entry level to my amazement.

His voice is not those that I can say very unique but the way he carried out that piece, his in-depth music appreciation with truthful feeling and strong control over his pitching really captured my utmost attention.

I had goosebumps and my eyes got wet when he reached that second part to the chorus, in where he properly executed a distinctive cresendo along with higher pitch. Words really hard to explain it, why not you watch it yourself…

CHC 8th Anniversary Gala Dinner

On 26th July 2009, City Harvest Church KL celebrated its 8th Anniversary with a special Gala Dinner at Sunway Grand Ballroom. It was a night to remember God’s faithfulness and goodness for the past 8 years since its birth on July 2001.

CHCKL was started by only 20 peoples under the leadership of Rev. Kevin Loo. Back then, most of them were students and have nothing much to offer. But, for sure, they got great hearts, faith and attitude to serve. And from 20 peoples it grew to 1,500 peoples today. What an amazing growth!

This is the place that I really learn about loving God and loving people, to serve with a great servanthood heart and living an excellent life. It’s a place that have brought me so much joy, colours and life! A place where my characters and values are constantly being fine tuned. Also, a place that I found so many meaningful relationships.

The Banquet Hall

So, the much anticipated night finally arrived and upon arrival at the venue, the whole place was filled with gorgeous peoples. Gentlemen came with formal suit and tie while girls came with gowns, hairdo and makeups. The event was truly honored by those stunning attendees that dressed to kill.

Singapore Short Trip

From Kukup Island, we head on towards further south until we reached Woodlands Checkpoint to enter Singapore.

I wonder how many of you ever wondered or felt curious on the procedures that you need to go through in order to enter Singapore with Malaysian car, the charges, restrictions and so forth. I will write another post under Info Section upon request.

Since Ryan and I were not familiar with the directions and the GPS didn’t have Singapore’s map loaded, we depended on my handphone’s GPS. Well, Google Maps helped quite much indeed.
